ETRIA: New Membership Rule and Fees: 25 Euro/5 Years (Posted: Jan. 19; Feb. 14, 2010)
Tom Vaneker (President of ETRIA, The Univ. of Twente, the Netherland) sent us an official News Letter on Jan. 9, 2010, for announcing the newly decided rule of ETRIA Membership and Membership Fees. ETRIA is an organization for promoting TRIZ and is open to people not only in Europe but also all other regions in the World. ETRIA is formed of the Members who join individually.
In the new rule, people can get the Membership in any of the followng two ways:
(1) By paying the ETRIA Membership Fee of Euro 25.00, which gives you a new term of 5 years.
(2) By participating an ETRIA TFC (TRIZ Future Conference), which is held annually in autumn. A part of the conference fee is sent to ETRIA for you and you become a Member for the next 5 years. This rule is made effective since ETRIA TFC 2007 (held in Frankfurt).Every Member is accessible to the Members-only pages in the ETRIA portal Web site, where the Proceedings of all the TFCs held so far (since 2001) are available and downloadable without charge.
ETRIA has Board Memebers (about 10 at momemt) and representatives from each country. Toru Nakagawa serves as the representative from Japan.
