Credit Transfer

Participants of the OGU International Exchange Program will be issued an official transcript in English at the completion of the program. In the case the participant is coming from a partner university it will be send directly to that institution. Transcripts include the number of hours per week, total number of weeks, and a grade for each subject studied.

The OGU International Exchange Program operates under the premise that all students will become part of an active learning community. The participation of each individual student makes a vital contribution to the learning of the community as a whole. For that reason, daily attendance and active participation in classes are strict requirements. An absence rate of 20% or more in any one class will result in a grade of “F” for that class.

OGU does not assign any credit weighting to any subjects as these are decided by the participant's home institution. The number of credits allocated for each subject and minimum required credits can vary between institution, so we recommend students consult with their study abroad office and plan their courses before departure.
A guide to suggested course weighting can be found PDF here.
