本プログラムは、アメリカの名門コロンビア大学Teachers CollegeのThe Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) が本学（OGU）及びマカオ科技大学（Macau University of Science and Technology）と提携し実施します。　このプログラムでは、英語及び中国語の指導法を集中的に学び、修了者にはTCSOLまたはTESOL、もしくは両コースの修了証を授与します。

ANNOUNCEMENT (October 1st, 2020): In response to the COVID19 pandemic, the Osaka 2021 summer program is offered ONLY online. The certificates awarded remain the same.

The TCSOL/TESOL Summer Dual Certificate Program in Osaka is a collaborative program co-sponsored by the Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) at Teachers College, Columbia University and by Osaka Gakuin University. This dual certificate program provides intensive training in the teaching of both Chinese and English. Participants, however, have the options of obtaining a single certificate either in TCSOL, TESOL, or both.

The TCSOL/TESOL Summer Dual Certificate Program especially encourages applicants who are

MA students/graduates in Chinese linguistics, English, Bilingual or Multilingual Education

College seniors in Chinese linguistics, English, Bilingual or Multilingual Education

・

Teachers of Chinese or English looking to enhance their teaching expertise

・

Professionals considering a career change

・

Individuals seeking to acquire a new skill

Students who successfully complete the TCSOL/TESOL Summer Dual Certificate Program will receive a certificate jointly issued by Teachers College, Columbia University and Osaka Gakuin Univeristy to acknowledge their participation and achievement in the program. Attending the TCSOL/TESOL Summer Dual Certificate Program will also give a significant advantage to applicants who decide to continue on to the TCSOL One-year Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. With the foundation that the summer program provides, students will be better equipped for the rigorous program at Teachers College. Application priority will be given to students who demonstrate their ability during the summer program. Additionally, applicants who successfully complete the summer program will be eligible for a reduction of the tuition fee for the one-year courses should they be admitted to the TCSOL Program at Teachers College, Columbia University.
