Osaka Gakuin University will hold the Liberal Arts Lecture Series welcoming Mr. Hideki Kuriyama, the Japanese national baseball team manager. Manager Kuriyama aims to win the 2023 World Baseball Classic overseeing diversified players including Shohei Otani and other Japanese baseball players who are quite active domestically and internationally. He and Mr. Hiroji Okoso, our specially-appointed professor and former owner of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters will enthusiastically talk about the expectations toward upcoming WBC and two prominent MLB players (both former players of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters), Yu Darvish and Shohei Otani. Mr. Kuriyama will also talk about how he encouraged Shotei to be a two-way player. We are looking forward to your participation in this event.
