Topic 4.  Constructor for Fairy Tales
 (Propp's Cards)

Let's clarify what the constructor is.
And what is the constructor for the fairy tales?

Today we are going to learn how to make fairy tales…
Let's remember the popular fairy tales, find the examples to each card.  The examples are in the end of the book  (See Appendix 3).  Now draw how you see a situation of each card.

1.  Absence of a family member

2.  Interdiction imposed on the character

3.  Violation of the interdiction

4.  Act of sabbotage (or a shortage)

5.  Obtaining a magic article (a grantor)

6.  Beginning resistence

7.  Problem is being eliminated

8.  Return of the character

9.  The character is offered a difficult assignment

10.  Victory, gift, happiness

Try to compose a fairy tale about your class, using Propp's cards.

Make a picture of the fairy tale of your class.

We know already what happens if one "spoils" the fairy tale.  And what will happen if one will "break" the constructor for the fairy tales?
     Shufle Propp's cards.
Choose the character for a new fairy tale.
Try to compose a fairy tale, using a "mixed up" constructor.
