Short Report about NIC/TRIZCON2010 by Richard Langevin, Executive Director, Altshuller Inst., Oct. 15, 2010, News Letter of AI.) (Dec. 30, 2010)

TRIZCON2010 was held in consonance with the National Innovation Conference outside of Dayton, Ohio on 7-8 October 2010. I wish to report that this combined conference successfully promote TRIZ to a broad audience. In addition to our loyal TRIZ attendees, we had people from the US Air Force, PDMA, Wright Brothers Institute and a host of smaller organizations that comprised the 90+ attendees.

The 2 day event had 3 tracks. One track had a diversity of speakers on innovation. The two other tracks were our traditional TRIZ tracks of Tutorials and Symposium. All tracks had good and balanced attendance. This was the first time we have conducted this abbreviated 2 day format. It was powerful and challenging. We will be evaluating the feedback and using this information to build a more effective and informative conference in the future.

I wish to publicly thank all who help to administer the Conference and those who worked hard to bring attendees to this event as well as to event supporters like Invention Machine, Innocentive, Zenovate and Technical Innovation Center.

The TRIZ Journal Restarted on Jun. 11, 2015 by BMGI   Web site:  http://www.triz-journal.com/   (Jun. 19, 2015)

The TRIZ Journal has been restarted under the operation by BMGI (USA)!! Congratulations !!! All the archived contents of the original TRIZ Journal (founded and edited mainly by Dr. Ellen Domb in 1996) are kept active, while new papers and articles are published from now on.  The new editorial policy has been announced: to accept contributions widely and openly; to ensure the original author's copyrights; to be unbiased and fair; to edit only for clarity, not for content; to be of high quality and professional; etc. I feel it a nice policy for making The TRIZ Journal an active global-hub Public Web site in TRIZ.  Hope many of you be active contributors of articles and frequent readers of the new TRIZ Journal, for proliferating TRIZ and related methods over the world. (Toru Nakagawa, Jun. 19,2015)
