About us : This is ATINER's official website. ATINER was established in 1995 as an independent world member-based association of academics and researchers. Athens was chosen as the meeting place because of its long history and culture. ATINER's mission is to act as a forum where academics and researchers from all over the world can meet to exchange ideas on their research and discuss the future developments in their disciplines. ... ATINER aims to revive Athens' long historical tradition by organizing and hosting international conferences and symposiums as well as promoting research and producing publications.
Since 1995, ATINER has organized more than 400 such international academic meetings, attended by academics from close to one thousand universities and other academic institutions from 120 different countries and around the world. A guide on ATINER's academic events is available here. It has published more than 200 books. In 2012,  the Association launched a series of conference paper publications (click here) with close to 1500 papers on various subjects, and in 2014 a series of e-journals (click here). ...
Academically, the association is organized into six Divisions and thirty-seven Units.  Each Unit organizes at least an Annual International Conference and undertakes various small and large research projects. ATINER encourages other Institutions to participate as joint members in these research projects.

[Note: The 6 Divisions are: Arts, Humanities & Education; Social Sciences; Business, Economics & Law; Science (Agriculture; Computer Sciene; Environment; Mathematics & Statistics; and Natural Sciences); Engineering (Civil Engineering: Electrical Engineerng; Industrial Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; and Transportation Engineering); Architecture; and Health &Medical Sciences.]

ATINER's conference paper proceedings series are circulated to promote dialogue among academic scholars.  All papers of this series have been blind reviewed and accepted for presentation at one of ATINER's annual conferences according to its acceptance policies .

About Us :  The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is an EU body created by the European Union in 2008 to strengthen Europe's ability to innovate. The EIT is an integral part of Horizon Europe, the EU's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.  The Institute is a unique EU initiative that drives innovation across Europe by bringing together organisations from business, education and research and find innovate solutions to pressing global challenges to create, cooperate and innovate.
What does the EIT do? :  We support the development of dynamic, long-term European partnerships among leading companies, research labs and higher education. These partnerships are called EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities and each is dedicated to finding solutions to a specific global challenge, from climate change and sustainable energy to healthy living and food.   Bringing together more than 2000 partners, the EIT is Europe's largest innovation ecosystem and connects innovators and organisations. We power innovators and entrepreneurs across the EU and beyond to turn their best ideas into cutting-edge products and services. This is crucial to fulfilling the EIT's mission to create jobs and deliver sustainable and smart growth for Europe.   Together with leading partners, the EIT Community offers a wide range of innovation and entrepreneurship activities: education courses that combine technical and entrepreneurial skills, tailored business creation and acceleration services and innovation driven research projects. This brings new ideas and solutions to the market, turns students into entrepreneurs and, most importantly, delivers innovation.
