Towards a Comprehensive Systematic Innovation Model
For the purpose of this paper a short definition of innovation is given. The innovation methods, systematic innovation, creative problem solving and TRIZ are ...
About Us :  The Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) SA  is South Africa's premier open-access (free to access and free to publish) searchable full-text journal database in service of the South African research community. The database covers a selected collection of peer-reviewed South African scholarly journals and forms an integral part of the SciELO Brazil project. SciELO SA is managed by the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf), funded by the South African Department of Science and Technology and endorsed by the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
SciELO SA focuses on strengthening the scholarly journal evaluation and accreditation systems in South Africa.   The SciELO library is an integral part of a project being developed by FAPESP - Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo, in partnership with BIREME - the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information. Since 2002, the Project is also supported by CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico.   SciELO contributes to the development of national capacities in scientific editing and publishing to be on par with the international state of the art. The project aims to make visible the science of developing countries that the mainstream does not provide for this scientific communication.   The coordinating centers all follow the same methodology and technology developed and maintained under the leadership of SciELO Brazil. Each collection has its own Web portal with multilingual interfaces in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The interfaces include a bibliometric module that provides usage statistics based on article downloads and impact indicators based on citations. This allows for the following up of the performance of the collections and the individual journals, and contributes to the enhancement of the evaluation of scientific production.  The SciELO Portal provides a single point of access to the SciELO Network of collections with searching, dissemination and bibliometric services. The SciELO Open Access collections represent an important global public good, contributing to the advancement of national programs and priorities on scientific research and communication.  South Africa joined the SciELO Program in 2009.  Journals are considered for inclusion in SciELO SA when they have received a favourable evaluation from ASSAf's journal quality peer-review panel. For further information or to submit a journal for consideration, contact: scielo@assaf.org.za
[Note (TN, Nov. 13, 2021):  SciELO offers a very important and useful database of many journals and their articles.  However, the search mechanism for articles seems (for me) rather 'rigid' and allows to use preset keywords.  The search does not explore the articles text (?).   Keyword 'TRIZ' returns only one article shown above.  Keyword 'USIT' is not allowed even though written in the article. Systematic OR Innovation returns 1280 articles; Systematic AND Innovation returns 11 articles;  "Systematic Innovation" is not allowed.]

About Us :  IITPSA (Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa), formerly Computer Society South Africa (CSSA),  is a professional body, recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Established in 1957, the Institute has a long and proud history of service to, and representation of, South Africa's ICT professionals and practitioners, attracting a broad and active membership from all levels of the ICT Industry.  In 2015, IITPSA's Professional Member programme (denoted by the professional designation "PMIITPSA") was accredited by IFIP's IP3 (International Professional Practice Partnership).   IITPSA's aims are to further the study, science and application of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs); maintain and promote Codes of Conduct and Ethics for our members; define and promote standards of ICT knowledge; promote the formulation of effective policies on ICT and related matters; and extend the knowledge and understanding and usage of ICTs in the community. This is achieved by engagement with both Industry and Government on ICT policy, regulations and professional activities, combined with a commitment to the wider community to ensure the beneficial use of ICT.
About Us:  industries such as ICT, construction, agriculture, health sciences, mining, education, fashion, automotive and others.  InnovationSIG meetings will typically occur on the first Thursday evening of each month.  The agenda will normally showcase one or more innovations from a specific industry.  The principles behind the innovation will be highlighted as a means to grow attendees' systematic innovation skills.  The current and future role of ICT in the showcased innovation(s) will be emphasised in order to broaden the outlook of ICT and innovation professionals as well as key players within the specific industry.  Meeting with people and ideas from a range of industries will make for dynamic and interesting networking opportunities.  Those, whose innovation skills grow, will soon be able to move ideas between industries and benefit from the new ideas, people, companies and approaches that they encounter.   The InnovationSIG will specifically promote thinking and actions which will spur real and sustainable job growth within South Africa.  The extent to which this is achieved will depend on the drive and calibre of those attending the meetings.
[Note (TN, Nov. 13, 2021):  According to the HP, the Acting Chairman of this SIG is Wayne Mallinson, and had SIG events 6 times from Oct. 2016 to May 2017. ]

About Us :  Top page :  Welcome!   I am a Research Fellow at Department of Science and Technology Education, College of Education (CEDU), University of South Africa (UNISA), with experience primarily in computing within higher education and related fields. I have functional experience in developing assistance devices for people with disabilities using information and communication technologies. I publish a variety of topics on improving innovation through computing in education.   I created this place because my colleagues and researchers both in national and international realms need a way to collaborate to solve real world problems using technologies, in particular developing systems to help young people to be inventors. I am creating an internet hub where all the ideas and inventions I have done, I am doing and want to do can inspire others.   I don't just want this place to be about me and my achievements, I am placing it out because I want to create more inventions together with you!
[Note (TN, Nov. 14, 2021):  This is a special HP opened by a professor not only for showing her own articles and achievements but also for making a place of collaboration with national/international readers.  (Just like my website "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".)   The article listed above is worthy of reading. ]
