Dear TRIZ leaders/colleagues,  I have updated the WTSP pages inside THPJ ("TRIZ Home Page in Japan) on Feb. 14 and yesterday (Feb. 28).

(1) List of WTSP Members (83 Members from 31 countries) is posted.

Do you find your country has enough WTSP Members to build useful WTSP Catalog of your country?
Surveying TRIZ-related sites, visiting them and introducing them one by one, and select reliable, useful, and important sites, and recommending them in the form of WTSP Catalogs.
-- This is the actual tasks we are going to perform by the voluntary cooperative work in the WTSP project.

(2) Recent [WTSP] Letters are posted; they include:

[WTSP] Letters (8M-A)(8M-B) (8M-D)(8M-E) issued on Feb. 8
[WTSP] Letters (8M-A2)(8M-B2) (8M-D2)(8M-E2) issued on Feb. 10
[WTSP] Letter (8M-G2) to Global Co-editors issued on Feb. 17

My basic understanding of the current situation of WTSP is:
Team formation is not proceeding smoothly in many countries.
Actual jobs of preparing Country WTSP Catalogs have not started yet in most of the countries.
These activities are much behind our planned schedule of reporting the completed World WTSP Catalogs at ETRIA TFC2019, Oct. 9-11, 2019.
-- So WTSP is facing at a critical stage of initialization.

We sincerely wish you to join the WTSP project. As leaders and active colleagues in TRIZ-related methods, we need your help to achieve the Aims of WTSP.

We know you, as well as all other active people working for/with TRIZ, are very busy for your jobs.
Since we can't get an enough number of 'fully-involved' Members, we need to get many more Members who contribute to WTSP using their time squeezed from their busy job schedule.
Please fill in the WTSP Membership Application Form attached here and send it to me via email.

(3) Communications between Michael Orloff and myself are posted.

Michael Orloff, one of Global Co-editors, started his TRIZ site search in Russia and has been facing with various difficulties.
He has found my results of Preliminary Internet Search of TRIZ sites in Russia in the Russian language are messy, noisy, and yet insufficient because of missing important sites.
-- Yes, they are. However, they are practically the best Internet survey for ordinary users can perform. The list shows only one representative page of each site, and shows the URL for carrying out further search inside the site. [Otherwise you will get many similar pages from a site.]

He wants to have a flat list of good sites.
-- I made "Selected 120 TRIZ Sites in the World" in 2008. However, it may be 'old' and insufficient. About half of the sites may be still active and worthy of listing, but the other half might have gone. And probably 100 or more new sites we should include in our World WTSP Coatalogs.

He asked me what is our main goal in WTSP. and I answered:
-- Our main goal is to introduce reliable and useful TRIZ-related Web sites to various people. 'properly selected sites' we should pursue instead of 'many sites with somewhat poor selection'.

All these discussions may apply to the cases in various countries.

Anyway, please try a Web search (or any other method) for yourself to find reliable and useful TRIZ related sites in your country. Then you will see the problem, and you will find what to do.
-- Cooperation with many TRIZ leaders/colleagues in the WTSP project is a practical solution, we believe.
You and any other persons are welcome to WTSP. Let's work Together ! Connected !!

Looking forward to hearing from you,    Best wishes,   Toru

[WTSP] Letter (8M-A3) (or (8M-B3)) WTSP pages are updated: Need your help to WTSP at the present critical stage.

(Toru Nakagawa ==> WTSP Members (Status A)  (32 persons)  Feb. 28, 2019
                        ==> WTSP Members (Status B)  (47 persons)  Feb. 28, 2019

Dear WTSP Members, WTSP pages are updated today in the "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".

We are now at the critical stage for initializing our WTSP activities in various countries.
Team formation is not smooth in many countries, and practical work for preparing WTSP Catalogs has not started in most countries.
We need your help and your involvement very much for forming the team and initializing the practical jobs in every country.

(0) Please fill in the Membership Application Form and send it to me as soon as possible.

(1) List of WTSP Members (83 Members from 31 countries) is posted in the (A2) Organization page

An Excel file of the list of all the Members (with or without the Membership Application Form) and the Invitees is attached in this email. It should be used internally in the WTSP project for forming WTSP project and for the collaborative work. Please check the list of Members and Invitees of WTSP. Please communicate with the TRIZ colleagues listed there (and any further people) and form a WTSP Team in your country, with assignment of Country Editor(s).

(2) [WTSP] Letters and communications are also updated.

Besides the [WTSP] Letter (8M-A2) you received on Feb. 10, Letters (8M-B2), (8M-D2), and (8M-E2) are sent to people with some adjustments corresponding to their Membership status. Please read the [WTSP] Letter (8M-G2), sent to the five Global Co-editors. It describes what we need to perform now at the present critical stage for WTSP.

Michael Orloff, one of Global Co-editors, started to work on the survey of TRIZ-related sites in Russia. And he has met various difficulties. He has found my results of the Preliminary Internet Search are messy, noisy, and yet insufficient in finding important Web sites.
-- But it is practically the best Internet search for TRIZ- related sites which can be done by ordinary users. That's why we need to build much better TRIZ sites Catalogs, I responded.

He also asked me what is the main goals of WTSP, e.g., listing many TRIZ sites or obtaining many WTSP Members.
-- I answered: Our main goal is to introduce reliable and useful TRIZ-related Web sites to various people, e.g., beginners, users, professionals, etc. We should pursue 'properly selected sites' instead of 'many sites with somewhat poor selection'.
'To invite more persons to become WTSP members' is a necessary means for such a purpose, especially for not missing good, important sites. He says that 4 Members and 10 Invitees in Russia in the list (1) are too few for making Russia WTSP Catalog.

All these points discussed between Michael Orloff and myself may apply to the cases of every country, I suppose. Please start trying the Web search or any other method to find 'reliable and useful' TRIZ related sites in your country. -- Then you will see the problem, and you will find what to do.

(3) At the end of March, we are going to post the interim report of the Team formation and the manuscripts of Country WTSP Catalogs of all the countries. Please upload such information in our Bitrix24 Platform, or send it to me via email by the end of March.

Looking forward to hearing from you,    Best wishes,   Toru

Communications with Michael Orloff:  Preliminary Internet Search and Main Goals for WTSP (Feb. 23 -27, 2019) (Posted here: Feb 28, 2019)

Michael Orloff ==> Toru Nakagawa        On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 23, 2019

I have started attentive studying the materials with intention to do it today and mainly tomorrow. I started from your web-site to get some full list of TRIZ-related web-sites.

I have found only Table of Preliminary Internet Searches (Toru Nakagawa, Sept. 21; Sept. 25; Sept. 27, 2018) at   .  This table is difficult to use because for looking through the list requires opening the PreSearch links in the table because of absence the list as one common table without the closed links but with every addresses in one open level.

1) So, I have one request, sorry, could I find or get some list of all the web-sites collected after your efforts as one "long" list, catalog to study it and rethink.

2) I am a little bit surprised after studying the Russian sub-list after my click on the Preseach link: PreSearch-Yahoo-B-ru-Russia-180918.doc    I have not found any my book and publisher in Russia or some other sites with my name or books at some universities etc.  In 2018 there were many references in Russia about my publications.

3) There is no web-sites from Belarus but there are several very "old" and known, and also new, web-sites in Belarus. How could it be possible? I think that I can exclude such disadvantages.  The same about Baltic countries neighbouring to Russia and Belarus.

4) I guess that I can prove some other countries to check the existing web-resources there.  Of course, as I said, I could do it much easier if I had unfolded list of all the web-sites collected till now.

Kindly regards, Michael

Toru Nakagawa ==> Michael Orloff   On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 23, 2019

Thank you for your message and questions.

(1) The Preliminary searches have been done by limiting site location for each country.   Belarus and Baltic countries cannot be specified by Yahoo.Japan as the option of location.   The search results are the practically best, most comprehensive Internet search which can be done by ordinary users who want to learn about TRIZ Web sites in their own country. They are really messy and noisy. And yet do not include important sites, as you have just found. Could you try another Internet search in Russia or Russian Region for finding better list of Web sites?

(2) A Index Table of important Web sites (120 Web sites in the world) was made by me in 2008.   It is the 'Stage 0: Base document by TN (compiled on May 4, 2008)' .   Probably about half of these sites are still alive and worthy of listing, and  the other half have gone.   And probably 100 or more sites should be newly included.

This is just a quick reply.    Best wishes, Toru

Michael Orloff ==> Toru Nakagawa        On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 25, 2019

Yesterday evening I tried to do several searchings and am a little bit confused with too noisy information without any systematic ranking necessary for us, of course.

To intensify and rationalize the process I would like to ask you once more:
1) What countries are critically important for WTSP in first line?
2) What is preferable deadline for completing such search with more or less acceptable result?

Toru Nakagawa ==> Michael Orloff   On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 25, 2019

Thank you for your message.   I am rather glad that you find the 'messy results' in various Internet searches. That is the current situation which every user faces with. So I think you are really at the start of our project.

(1) Russia and its neighboring countries are critically important. I wish you to work for them at moment.

(2) Our 'preferable deadline' is
Dec. 31 last year:   formation of WTSP teams in every country, assigning Country Editors
March 31:   Reasonable manuscripts of Country WTSP Catalogs for the review by all the WTSP Members in the world.

I should say: 'reasonable deadlines' for us at moment are:
Assigning Country Editors:   March 15, 2019
Reasonable manuscript of the survey results for each country:    March 15, 2019
Initial draft of Country WTSP Catalog (i.e., description of introductions to important Web sites):   Mar. 31, 2019

Michael Orloff ==> Toru Nakagawa        On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 25, 2019

Sorry for disturbing but I cannnot find the list of Russian web-sites owner registration at WTSP like member of WTSP. Could you send me such lists who is registered already from important countries, e.g. Russia?

Toru Nakagawa ==> Michael Orloff   On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 25, 2019

An Excel file of all the people of WTSP Members and those I have been accessing for WTSP is attached here. [Containing about 180 people.  Not shown openly in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".]
In my mail of Jan. 13, 2019, I mentioned that I uploaded it in our Bitrix24 platform, but missed to attach it in my email to the Members.    Since January we do not have much progress.

Michael Orloff ==> Toru Nakagawa        On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 25, 2019

Thank you for the list.  It is obviously too short [i.e., 4 Members + 10 Invitees] for Russian Internet-space.

By the way it is not clear for me how could I classify my web-site www.gramtriz.com because it is for GRAMTRIZ as Global Russian Academy of Modern TRIZ for Russian-speaking people around the world. The most clients for e-educations come from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Ukraine (now it is less from Ukraine, it is understandable).   So, I think that this web-resource shoud be classified as Russian web-site.

Michael Orloff ==> Toru Nakagawa        On Preliminary Internet searches     Feb. 26, 2019

The work is too laborious.

Nevertheless I have found some sites that are very important e.g. http://ratriz.ru/ - it is association of some very respectable TRIZ-professionals which is independent of MATRIZ.

And I have to rethink the "technology" of Russian Internet reviewing to make it more productive and relevant.
Because there are so many newest non-professional followers using TRIZ-title and some "terms" in their activity to push their "businesses".  Altshuller said many years ago about possible "school corruption", coming in near future over the disguised and speculative for "hot money" actions.

Michael Orloff ==> Toru Nakagawa        On Main Goals of WTSP    Feb. 26, 2019

I would like to make more clear our main goals.   What is more valuable?:

1) to collect as more as possible the web-sites from Russia?   What kind of web-sites - professional or any which has something in connection with TRIZ matter?

2) to invite more persons to become the members of WTSP?

Toru Nakagawa ==> Michael Orloff       On Main Goals of WTSP      Feb. 26, 2019

Dear Michael, Thank you for your raising questions.

(1) Our main goal is to introduce reliable and useful TRIZ-related Web sites to various people.

Sites operated by professionals may be reliable, and useful for other professionals, but sometimes may not be so useful for TRIZ beginners.

Some professional consulting firms just mention benefits of their methods for advertisement, without fully showing the methods and application examples. -- Such sites may not be so useful.

Various sites operated by mass media often have many accesses. Their sites often use information written by somebody else. In such a sense, they are less reliable and less important, but often useful for beginners if the information is not incorrect.

There are sites and blogs written by non-professional users. They are less reliable, but sometimes have their original new insights and views which are useful for ordinary users. The reviewers who make the WTSP Catalogs should have good sense to recognize the quality of such sites.

Official sites operated by academic societies and conference organizers are important as the source of original and reliable information.   However, they just deposit many papers as they are, without any general introduction/review/categorization, etc.   Hence they are not easy for ordinary people like users to access them and to select reliable information useful for them.

TRIZ colleague who make WTSP Catalogs are expected to know all these viewpoints, and to introduce and select 'reliable and important sites for various people'.
We should put our stress on 'properly selected sites' instead on 'many sites with somewhat poor selection'.

(2) We wish to have a wider scope when we talk about 'TRIZ-related' sites.

(3) 'To invite more persons to become WTSP members' is a necessary means to survey, select, and introduce important and useful Web sites.

Any person, including myself, can't visit so many Web sites (or all the selected sites) and evaluate the introductions of individual sites.   We should rely on the views of several TRIZ colleagues for each individual sites. (I suppose this is a difficulty at the final stage of our editing the selected World WTSP Catalogs.)

Since we can't get an enough number of 'fully-involved' Members, we need to get many more Members who contribute to WTSP using their time squeezed form their busy job schedule.
Many Members from TRIZ leaders mean many important sites operated/involved by them, i.e., less risks of missing important Web sites.

What do you think?      Best wishes. Toru

Michael Orloff ==> Toru Nakagawa        On Main Goals of WTSP    Feb. 26, 2019

First of all, I will surf Russian space with classifying the "fishes" into several reasonable classes.  It could be more clear after next attempts.
I inform you to coordinate my steps with you and to get your advice.

[WTSP] Letter (8M-G2) Dear Global Co-Editors: Need your help at the current critical stage  (Issued: Febl 17, 2019)  (Posted here: Feb 28, 2019)

Toru Nakagawa ==> 5 WTSP Global Co-editors   Need your help at the current critical stage    Feb. 17, 2019    [outline only]

I feel now is the critical stage for initializing our WTSP activities in various countries. Team formation is not smooth in many countries, and practical work for preparing WTSP Catalogs has not started in most countries. I need your help very much for initializing the team formation and practical jobs in every country.

(1) Please introduce the WTSP project in your Web site and state that you are seriously involved in it as one of Global Co-editors.

(2) Could you work to form the WTSP Team in your own country?

(3) Could you help the following important countries/regions to form their WTSP teams? Country Editors are most important for us to find.   USA, Russia, some in Europe, and Korea.

(4) It is important to make some drafts of WTSP Catalog of any country and report their experiences openly. I made Japan WTSP Catalog a year ago, but we need demonstrations and experiences from other countries besides Japan.

(5) Our WTSP Catalogs are going to have two differently structured volumes. One is hierarchically organized from Countries, to Regions, and to Global.   The second one should be categorized with methodologies and application areas and stages, etc.   This categorization scheme need to be considered and tested carefully.

(6) International conferences in TRIZ before ETRIA TFC are very important for our project. Can we present some WTSP presentations and do some activities for getting WTSP Members and helping the WTSP teams to do actual jobs. It is difficult for myself to attend them personally. Could you please do the main roles for me?  They include: AI TRIZCON2019, I-SIM ICSI 2019, MATRIZ TRIZfest-2019,

Please show us any suggestions, ideas, and show your support of WTSP to the global TRIZ community.
Let's work Together ! Connected !!            Best wishes, Toru

Toru Nakagawa ==> Helena Navas (Portugal)   Feb. 14, 2019

Thank you for your Membership Application Form. With your description, I very much respect your high activities  in recent yeas.  I notice that you volunteer to work as Regional Editorand in a global scale and also interested in wider areas such as Lean, Kano Model, etc. besides TRIZ.  So, may I ask you for your help in WTSP in a following manner?

World WTSP Catalogs are expected to have two volumes:
First one is organized in a hierarchical way based on the Countries - Regions (Europe, Russia, etc.) - Global. This volume is supposed to be the one we need principal efforts by most of the WTSP Members (including Country Editors, Regional Editors, and Global Editors).
The second volume should be categorized in some methodological and application-oriented ways covering important sites all over the world without separating with countries or regions. This volume intends to widen the scope of 'TRIZ-related sites'. Thus, Lean, Kano model, creativity methods, intellectual property, and many others, should be included.
We are calling it as Methodological Volume, temporarily. But structures, policies, etc. of this volume are still very vague.

I wish you to work for building this Methodological volume together with two Global Co-editors, i.e., Darrell Mann and Simon Dewulf.   May we assign you as one of the 'Regional Editors' or more properly one of the 'Methodical Editors' who take care of some parts of the 'Methodical Volume' in the global scale.

We are very happy to have you get involved in WTSP volunteering such an important role.   Let's work Together ! Connected !!
Best wishes, Toru

We should make much better Catalog by the WTSP project.

(c) Sample of WTSP Catalog is ready as the one for Japan:

In the Web: "Catalog of TRIZ-related Sites in Japan"
         In the Platform: ProjectInternal/Region-D-Asia/ Country-D-jp-Japan
                   ListSites-D-jp-Japan-Nakagawa-Selected24-180424.docx

This is the working file in .docx showing 24 selected sites (from 92 sites).
Please use this .docx file as a template for your making WTSP Catalog for your country.
(I feel the selection criteria in this file is suitable not for people in the world but
for Japanese people. I will revise this Catalog some more in future.)

Posting in LinkedIn: Invitation to Voluntary work of building WTSP Catalogs of TRIZ-related Sites in your country and in the world.

(Toru Nakagawa, Posting in LinkedIn: Feb. 8, 2019)  (Posted here: Feb. 14, 2019)

We are operating WTSP (World TRIZ Sites Project) and need your voluntary help !

The Aims of WTSP are:

Many people are supporting the aims of WTSP, and about 80 of them already joined as the Members.

See our WTSP Web site: https://www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/eWTSP/eWTSP-index.html

However, we still need your help as an active voluntary Member.

Practical jobs we need are surveying, visiting, and describing introductions of individual Web sites one by one.   Such individual jobs are not very difficult if you have a certain level of background knowledge of TRIZ.

Unfortunately, however, all TRIZ leaders/colleagues are very busy, just like you, because of working so actively. Thus, actual work of WTSP in various countries have not yet started smoothly. We are behind our time schedule for completing the WTSP Catalogs of individual countries and of the world by the time of ETRIA TFC2019 (Oct. 9-11, 2019).

We would like to have many leaders/colleagues in TRIZ who work to do the practical jobs in parallel in a collaborative manner. We also need some persons who coordinate such parallel jobs. At least one such person in each country and several more in regions, and in the whole world.

We wish you to join WTSP project and serve as active Members, Country Editors, Region Editors, etc. for achieving the Aims of WTSP.

By integrating (rather small individual) efforts of many TRIZ leaders/colleagues in the World, we can build WTSP Catalogs of individual countries and of the whole world.

Such Catalogs will certainly serve for many many people who get interested in and use TRIZ (or Innovation methodologies) for their jobs and for their lives.

For joining WTSP, please fill in the Membership Application Form (.docx) and send it to me via email (nakagawa 'at' ogu.ac.jp).

Let's work Together ! Connected !!

[WTSP] Letters (8M-D)(8M-E): Invitation to join WTSP; Your help is needed by the global TRIZ community  (Issued: Feb. 8, 2019)  (Posted: , 2019)

Four types of [WTSP] Letters (8M) are issued on Feb. 8, 2019.  Two of them, (8M-D) and (8M-E), are shown here

[WTSP] Letter (8M-D) (or (8M-E)) Invitation to join WTSP; Your help is needed by the global TRIZ community.
(Toru Nakagawa ==> WTSP Invitees (Status D)  (55 persons)   Feb. 8, 2019
                        ==> WTSP (new) Invitees (Status E)  (44 persons)   Feb. 8, 2019

Dear TRIZ leaders/colleagues,
Hello, how are you, in the midst of the coldest season? I hope you are fine and active as ever.

I am writing this email to you for inviting you to join WTSP (World TRIZ Sites Project).
Please refer to my previous mail [WTSP] Letter (7M-D) (or (7M-E)), attached below, about WTSP.

I have updated the WTSP pages in the "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" (THPJ) yesterday (though dated Feb. 6).
http://www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/

The Aims of WTSP are written in our slide as:

---------------
[2] Aims of WTSP

・ To build Catalogs of TRIZ-related Sites
     - of each country (in their own language, then in English) and
      -   of the whole world (in English, then in many languages)
      -   with appropriate (brief but close) introduction of individual sites
      -   with appropriate selection of (useful and important) sites
      -   for various people (unfamiliar, beginners, users, and experts in TRIZ)
      -   in the field of TRIZ and relevant methodologies
      -   as reliable sources of information (on theories, applications, activities)

・   To keep the Catalogs up-to-date
     -   accepting new and revised information regularly
     -   revising all the Catalogs every two years

・ For promoting TRIZ and relevant methodologies further in the world

・ By voluntary collaboration of many TRIZ colleagues in the world
-----------------

Many people are supporting the aims of WTSP, and about 80 of them already joined as the Members.

We still need your help, however, as an active Member.

Practical jobs we need are surveying, visiting, and describing introductions of individual Web sites one by one.   Such individual jobs are not very difficult for TRIZ leaders/colleagues having certain level of background knowledge.

However, all TRIZ leaders/colleagues are very busy, just like you, because of working so actively.
And the actual work of WTSP in various countries have not yet started smoothly. We are behind our time schedule for completing the WTSP Catalogs of individual countries and of the world by ETRIA TFC2019 (Oct. 9-11, 2019).

So we are going to have many leaders/colleagues in TRIZ who work to do the practical jobs in parallel in a collaborative manner.
We also need some persons who coordinate such parallel jobs. At least one person in each country; we call the person's role as Country Editor. And several more in regions, and in the whole world.

Such Catalogs will certainly serve for many many people who get interested in and use TRIZ for their jobs and for their lives.

We sincerely wish you to join WTSP and to encourage your friends and colleagues to join WTSP.
Let's work Together ! Connected !!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Best wishes, Toru

[WTSP] Letters (8M-A)(8M-B): WTSP pages are updated today in THPJ. Let's work Together ! Connected !!. (Issued: Feb. 8, 2019)  (Posted: Feb. 14, 2019)

Four types of [WTSP] Letters (8M) are issued on Feb. 8, 2019.  Two of them, (8M-A) and (8M-B), to Members are shown here.

[WTSP] Letter (8M-A) (or (8M-B)) WTSP pages are updated today in THPJ. Let's work Together ! Connected !!.
(Toru Nakagawa ==> WTSP Members (Status A)  (32 persons)  Feb. 8, 2019
                        ==> WTSP Members (Status B)  (47 persons)  Feb. 8, 2019

Dear WTSP Members, Hello, how are you, in the midst of the coldest season?

I have just updated the WTSP pages in the "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" (THPJ).
You can see various information there about our current status and the tasks we should work at the present stage.

In short, however, I have heard only small progress in the WTSP team formation and very little work done since last November.
I received only 2 new Membership Application Forms, i.e. from Jose M. Vicente Gomila and Oleg Feygenson.
*** (to Status B Mambers)  Please send me your Membership Application Form filled in.
I have not received any report of list of Web sites and their brief introductions in a country.

Thus we are much behind our schedule, or we have not started our activities yet in a practical manner.
I assume you are extremely busy, because you and we all are so active and ambitious in our work and life.
This is the difficulty we knew from the beginning and we have to overcome at first.
We should just use a small portion of our time effectively in a cooperative manner, for possible integration of our hope, desire, and efforts.
Let's work Together ! Connected !!
-- We should rely on the effects of this slogan.

In our previous [WTSP] Letter (7M-A) (or (7M-B)) (issued on Jan. 13), you may find necessary information and expected tasks.

Some thoughts in my mind now:

(a) Please try to start your actual work of surveying, visiting, and describing several Web sites in your country.
And raise any questions, troubles, good practice, draft outputs, etc. and share them in your Team and any WTSP leaders.

(b) Probably it's time for us to use the Bitrix24 Platform, in addition to the ordinary email communications.
The platform supports much the parallel, cooperative work by several or even 100 people.

(c) Before ETRIA TFC2019 (Oct. 9-11), we are going to have several international conferences in TRIZ.
They give us very good chances for presenting our WTSP project openly and for obtaining voluntary people, just like in ETRIA TFC last year.

It is difficult for myself to participate in them, but since we have many WTSP Members, we should be able to give a (co-authored) paper and do some activities for obtaining new Members and promoting actual work.

Isn't it possible for you to contribute in such a manner?
There are several conferences:
    TRIZCON2019: May 20-22, 2019, Purdue Univ., USA
    ICSI 2019: Jul. 8-11, 2019, Liverpool, UK.
    TRIZfest2019: Sept. 11-14, 2019, Heilbronn, Germany

And in your own country, you may give similar presentations in domestic conferences to report about WTSP Catalog in your country.

Let's work Together ! Connected !!
Looking forward to your sharing your views and work,
Best wishes, Toru

Dear Toru, glad to hear from you. Here is attached my form filled in. Hope it is Ok for your purposes       Best regards Jose

Toru Nakagawa ==> Jose M. Vicente Gomila  Jan. 14, 2019

Dear Jose, Thank you so much for your quick response and joining WTSP. It is amazing that you can speak so many languages.

Could you please take the role of Country Editor of Spain and also Regional Editor of Spanish/Portuguese speaking regions ?
I asked xxxxx for becoming the Regional Editor of Central and South America, but have not received any response for a year.
We may have multiple Regional Editors for a region, if any person volunteers.
I have just updated again my "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".              Best wishes, Toru

 Jose M. Vicente Gomila   ==> TN   Jan. 14, 2019

Dear Toru:  Yes I can take that role for Spain and Colombia and Brazil. If I feel overtaken by any time, I would let you know and we can search for other people.
Mexico has its own idiosincrasia and Chile as well , but yes for Spanish and Portuguese countries     Thanks Jose

(Toru Nakagawa ==> WTSP (new) Invitees (Status E)  (44 persons)   Jan. 13, 2019

Dear TRIZ leaders/colleagues,
I wish you A Happy New Year 2019 !!

This may be the first time I send a [WTSP] Letter to you.
As you might already know, we have been promoting WTSP (World TRIZ Sites Project) since December 2017, to build Catalogs of TRIZ-related sites in the world.
I have been sending WTSP Letters to about 100 TRIZ leaders/colleagues in the world since a year ago, and at its new stage I would like to send information on and invitation to WTSP to you and some more TRIZ leaders/colleagues in the world.

(1) The aims of WTSP are shown in the slide attached here.    (See above in Letter (7M-D))

Further information on WTSP is posted and kept up to date in the WTSP pages in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan". https://www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/eWTSP/eWTSP-index.html

(2) We have been trying to form WTSP teams in every country.
The List of WTSP Members has been updated today in the WTSP page in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".

WTSP has obtained 78 Members from 29 different countries !!
This is amazingly a big number, in a sense, thanks to the support by many people.

(3) But if you see the List closely, you will find our WTSP team is still very weak for actual tasks we are going to perform.
First of all, we miss you and many other influential TRIZ leaders/colleagues in the world.
Without you and other such people it is difficult for us to achieve the overall WTSP goals shown in the slide.
We eagerly wish you to join our WTSP project and work together for contributing to the general goals beneficial for TRIZ and relevant methodologies.

(4) WTSP is a voluntary-based project.
For joining it, please fill in the WTSP Membership Application Form (.docx) attached here and send it to me.
You and anybody will be accepted and welcome as a Member.

(5) Please note our time schedule for the time being:
(by Dec. 31, 2018) Formation of WTSP teams in every country
       (by Mar. 31, 2019) Completion of Country WTSP Catalogs in every country, for open reviewing inside the project;
First draft of Categorized World WTSP Catalog
Could you please communicate with other WTSP members in your country and work in collaboration as a team?
Actual work we should do is surveying TRIZ-related sites in your country and describing introductions to them one by one.
Please try to cover all the significant Web sites in your country by the collaborative work.

(6) In addition to the WTSP pages in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan", we are operating the Bitrix24 groupware system in cloud as our platform for cooperative work.
When you become a WTSP Member, you may open your Bitrix24 account and access to our Platform 'TRIZsites.Bitrix24.com' without charge.
Read the instructions in our WTSP pages in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".

(7) If you have any questions, suggestions, etc., please write to me or some WTSP Member.
I will respond to you, and if appropriate, I will post the communications in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" or in the Bitrix24 Platform.

(8) Let's work Together ! Connected !! to complete the first Edition of WTSP Catalog of TRIZ-related sites in the world and report it at ETRIA TFC2019 on Oct. 9-11, 2019.
The Catalogs should be helpful for all the people interested in TRIZ and creative methodologies.

Looking forward to hearing from you, Best wishes, Toru

[WTSP] Letter (7M-B) List of Members is updated (78 Members from 29 countries), Let's work to build WTSP Catalog in your own country.
(Toru Nakagawa ==> WTSP Members (Status B)  (47 persons)   Jan. 13, 2019

Dear WTSP Members,
I have just updated the List of WTSP Members in the WTSP page of "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".
It has 78 Members from 29 different countries !!
This is amazingly a big number, in a sense.
But if you see it closely, you will find our WTSP team is still very weak for actual tasks we are going to perform.

(1) In the Member List, you are shown with 'Status B', because you have stated to join (or work for) WTSP but have not sent to me Membership Application Form yet.
Please fill in the Form (.docx) attached here and send it to me as soon as possible.

(2) Please note our time schedule for the time being:
(by Dec. 31, 2018) Formation of WTSP teams in every country
(by Mar. 31, 2019) Completion of Country WTSP Catalogs in every country, for open reviewing inside the project; First draft of Categorized World WTSP Catalog
Could you please form your WTSP team in your country and start the actual work of surveying TRIZ-related sites in your country and to describe introductions to them one by one.

(3) In our Bitrix24 Platform , I have stored an Excel file of List of WTSP Members and persons whom we have been inviting to WTSP since the start of our project. It is stored in the Project Internal Main Folder, for internal use only.
Please use its information to make your WTSP team strong.

(4) The filled-in WTSP Membership Application Forms are shown in a PDF file (of all the Members together). Your filled-in Form will be included in this file in the chance of earliest update.

(5) Whenever you survey TRIZ-related sites in your country and describe introductions to some of the sites, please send the information to the WTSP team members in your country and to Nakagawa, and store/update the files in the Bitrix 24 Platform.
It is desirable to have one or two members in your country who can support the operation of updating the files in the Bitrix24 Platform.

(6) Some of you may not be a big promoter of TRIZ, operating own Web site.
Then you are in the position of watching, surveying, and introducing various TRIZ-related sites in a fair attitude. Use you eyes and thoughts for introducing many useful Web sites in a fair way for beginners and ordinary users of TRIZ in your country and in the world.

(7) Please write to me any information, questions, suggestions, etc. I will respond to you, and if appropriate, I will post them in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" or in the Bitrix24 Platform.

(8) Let's work Together ! Connected !! to complete the first Edition of WTSP Catalog of TRIZ-related sites in the world and report it at ETRIA TFC2019 on Oct. 9-11, 2019.

Tan  Eng Hoo (Malaysia) ==>  Toru Nakagawa    Dec. 22, 2018     TRIZ activities in Malyasia and around

Dear Prof Dr Nakagawa-san, It is a pleasure to hear from you. Thank you for your season greetings. Wishing you the best for the coming years.

With regards to TRIZ community in Malaysia, as far as we know, there is only one official TRIZ site i.e. Malaysia TRIZ http://www.mytriz.com.my .
There are other social media communities via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc but there are individual sites of TRIZ practitioners. Example of such sites are TRIZ Malaysia via Facebook which is hosted by MyTRIZ secretary, Dr Zulhasni Abdul Rahim. They do not represent the country level network.

At the year ending 2018, MyTRIZ has almost 11,000 TRIZ practitioners registered with us.
They are members who trained by the community and span across many regional countries i.e. Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Australia, Pakistan, Thailand, Myammar, etc. Country level activities are taking shape in Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan and Australia.

By end of Year 2019, I think Malaysia TRIZ can assist WTSP to reach out to these regional countries. It has been a year since I received the initiative on WTSP. I totally overlooked sending you my application form. Enclosed is my application form to be a member of this effort. Hope I will get the approval to join this wonderful global effort.

Happy New Year to you and Mrs Nakagawa. Cheers, Eng Hoo

Toru Nakagawa ==> Tan  Eng Hoo, TS Yeoh    Dec. 22, 2018       Intentions of WTSP Catalogs in each country and in the world

Dear Tan Eng Hoo and TS Yeoh, Thank you for your message.

Congratulations to your big success of myTRIZ for penetrating and promoting TRIZ/Innovation Methods actively in your country and neighboring countries. It was my great pleasure to have attended at your myTRIZ 2012 Conference, workshop, and competition and to have given a Keynote Lecture. I learned much about your activities since that time.

(1) The WTSP Membership Application Form is renewed. Could you please submit it with the new form attached here?

(2) Our WTSP Catalogs intend to be more practical. I understand myTRIZ site is outstanding and posts many articles, news, papers, etc. but there are many more smaller but useful (for various people) sites in Malaysia, I suppose.

(a) For example, universities, departments, and laboratories have their own sites where they post about their courses, activities, class materials, papers, results of winning some awards in myTRIZ, etc. Students want to know in which university/laboratory they can learn best about TRIZ and its application. Such sites may be related to TRIZ only partly and do not have the position of country wide network. Nevertheless, we would like to list them up in the WTSP Catalog in your country if their contents are reliable, meaningful, and useful for many people or else if the sites are actually accessed by many people for learning something about TRIZ there.

Similarly, companies (big and small), government organizations (national and municipal), research institutions, etc. may be posting some articles, application examples, etc. in their Web sites. You may also have many consulting firms to teach and support TRIZ applications. They may be useful for (small) companies to select some good consultants for them.

Please list them up and introduce in the Malaysia WTSP Catalog, in your country's own languages, Malaysian, Chinese, English, etc. Such Catalog should be useful for various people in your country.

(b) Next, please make Malaysia WTSP Catalog in English. This should be used mostly by people outside your country to learn how TRIZ is learned, used, and promoted in Malaysia. For such a purpose please select (not too severely) good and useful sites among the sites introduced in (a) This level of WTSP Catalogs (of various countries) will be made accessible in the system of the World WTSP Catalog.

(c) Then, after selecting good sites at higher criteria, i.e., useful/important sites for people in the world (to understand TRIZ in the global views), selected sites in Malaysia will be listed in the top-level list of TRIZ-related Sites in the World.

(3) It is very nice that myTRIZ is giving good influences on several countries around Malaysia and practically serves as the regional center in TRIZ in ASEAN countries. Thank you so much for your volunteering to be (joint) Country Editor for Malaysia and also Regional Editor for ASEAN Region.

Even though I (or WTSP) have some connections with TRIZ leaders in Thailand and in Australia, we don't have those in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Pakistan, Myammar, etc. Could you please pass the WTSP information and invitation to the people of your connections?

Could you also pass my present message to the people who are involved in some Web sites in Malaysia? Thank you so much for your cooperation.   Best wishes, Toru
