Editor's Note (Toru Nakagawa, Sept. 19, 2019)

This is the 6th trial of the '3rd round' Preliminary Internet Search of TRIZ-related Web sites in a wider scope.  The sites written in English and located in the whold world are surveyed.

Extending the preceding cases further, the key words are set as:
(Patent OR IP OR "Intellectual Property") AND
(Analysis OR Protect OR Circumvent OR Mapping OR Strategy)
These Key words are designed to specify the objects first (i.e., Patent, IP, Intellectual Property), then the actions/processing of them (i.e., (Analysis, Protect, Circumvent, Mapping, Strateg).  These Key words intend to complement the former Key words such as 'Creative Thinking Method', 'Creative Problem Solving', 'Innovation', 'Quality', etc.   This survey has resulted in 186 sites most of which are new and not overlapping with the former surveys.  Visiting and evaluating 95 sites from the top, I quitted reviewing the rest 91 sites because I thoght that's enough for the present stage of WTSP catalogs.

This page is designed similar to the previous pages of the (3A2)(3B)(3C) and (3D) cases:
In the present page, the process of searching and handling the sites is described first , and then the Web sites obtained with significance are shown in a simple tabular form where the sites are re-arranged according to the importance in our WTSP Catalogs.

A .docx file is attached to show some more details of the individual sites.  The initial part of the .docx file (describing the ◎ and ○ sites) is illustrated as examples at the bottome of this HTML page

Preliminary Internet Search (3E) of TRIZ-related Sites in a Wider Scope

Preliminary Search for WTSP sites widely in the English Language in the whole world

(3E) Keyword:
(Patent OR IP OR "Intellectual Property")  (Analysis OR Protect OR Circumvent OR Mapping OR Strategy)

Toru Nakagawa  Jul. 12, 2019  Internet survey
Sept. 14-18, 2019  Visiting the sites

The conditions of survey:

(a) Survey Keyword: (Patent OR IP OR "Intellectual Property") (Analysis OR Protect OR Circumvent OR Mapping OR Strategy)
(b) Language of the sites:  English
(c) Location of the sites:  Not specified (i.e., the whole world)
(d) Searcher's location: Not used (i.e., neutral from Japan)
(e) Search engine:  Yahoo.japan

(f) Option:  Only one representative page is shown for a site, with URL for the search for TRIZ-related pages inside the site
(g) Browser:   Firefox

Results:

186 sites are listed, with 2-3 lines per site.  Recorded in a Word file.  (Only the top 95 sites are used.)
Underlined words have hyperlinks, which are active (at least in my environment)
Note:  URL of option (f) is the hyperlink attached to : このサイト内で検索
Survey again with the keyword  site:[URL of the site domain]  (Patent OR IP OR "Intellectual Property") (Analysis OR Protect OR Circumvent OR Mapping OR Strategy

Note:  The search result this time looks good but there include business and law oriented sites.

 Further working process:

Visit the representative page, and then the top page of the site, and several more pages of the site quickly.

Name of the site and URL of the site are recorded.
--- This record of site title is placed before the page title output by the search engine.

Using the URL output by the option (f), the internal search of the site is carried out.  The number of pages hit with this survey is recorded as the No. of pages.  Taking a glance at the output page titles and text excerpts are useful for roughly understand the nature of the site.

For most of the sites, the description in 'About us' and similar pages are quoted here, for obtaining the rough idea of the sites.

Following the Practice Guide posted recently, information of Site Location, Site Language, and Roles of the site are recorded.  However, Site Location is not easy to find in many cases, and Site Languages (especially besides English) are not checked thoroughly.  The two information need to be examined later.

In the present case, I put much attention in finding the Roles of the site.  (The 'About us' pages are useful to find the Roles.)

Then the sites are roughly evaluated, with the evaluation symbols:  ◎ ○ ☐ △ -

Note:  In cases of two marks together, they mean evaluation choices not sure yet.  E.g., □△ means '□or △'.

Note:  There are many Web sites in the fields where I am not so familiar (e.g., innovation management as business,).

Thus the present evaluation should be regarded tentative and need to be checked by other people familiar in these various fields.

95 sites from the top were visited and evaluated.  For the rest 91 sites are neglected without visiting. (Sept.18, 2019)

After having processed all the sites, the record of the displayed page for each site is erased, because it has no usage any more.

Interim Search Results for the World WTSP Catalog:

Sites are now re-arranged according to the evaluation: ◎ ○ □ △ -.

◎ :  Most important in the World WTSP Catalog  =====  ( 5 sites,  including 4 already listed sites)
    ◎○:                                            ( 0 sites,  including 0 already listed site)

  ○ :  Important in the World WTSP Catalog      ======  (13 sites,  including 3 already listed sites)
○□:                                             (5 sites,  including 0 already listed sites)

☐ :  Worthy  in the World WTSP Catalog       =====  (29 sites,  including 0 already listed sites)
□△:                                            (8 sites,  including 0 already listed sites)

△ :  Worthy  in Country WTSP Catalogs       =====   (14 sites,  including 0  already listed sites)
    △-:                                            ( 1 sites,   including 0  already listed sites)

  - :  Irrelevant/neglected in the WTSP Catalogs   ====    (17 sites,  including 0 already listed sites)

For each site, the description of "About us" are extracted from the site and shown.
The page shown by the search engine is now deleted, because of no significant value left.

The locations of sites are separately surveyed with the 'Who Is' search: https://tech-unlimited.com/whois.html

In the Web site "TRIZ Home Page in Japan", the sites evaluated as ◎ ○ □ △ are shown in a tabular form.

Further tasks to be done:

Visit individual sites again and describe its introduction in 5-10 lines.

Survey Results: (Simplified for posting in HTML (Sept. 19, 2019, TN))

95 sites rearranged in the order of their evaluation.

Evaluation symbol; Site name;  Site domain URL; No. of pages hit in the site search; Country; Language; and Roles of the site

Note:  The record shown below forms four tables.  You may select a table at once and Copy & Paste it into MS Word or Excel without specifying any particular format.

The Handbook with the companion Executive Guide, and this web site, have been developed by many dedicated individuals with the intent of making a resource available to the global community for putting intellectual property to work. The entire effort was overseen by an international Editorial Board.
We hope these resources uniquely contribute to efforts in global health and food security and the use of the Handbook and Executive Guide are endorsed by many distinguished individuals from our Board of Patrons.

About:  IAM is universally acknowledged as the world's leading IP business media platform. It was launched as a magazine in July 2003 to address the need for organisations to maximise the value of their intellectual property and other intangibles, and to examine the strategies they can put in place to do this. IAM now produces a wide range of publications, as well as a weekly email and daily blog.
IAM is unique because it treats intellectual property as a business asset and tool, rather than simply as a legal right. With this unequalled appeal to the boardroom, IAM has established itself as the only IP publication that many senior corporate executives read regularly.
The insight and intelligence IAM provides is topical, timely and continually thought provoking for its subscription-based readership. Editorial quality and integrity are paramount. The quality of the editorial is guaranteed by an in-house team, based in London, Hong Kong and Washington DC, with long-established journalistic track records in the specialist IP and business press, including on titles such as the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. A number of articles are also commissioned from leading figures in the IP business world.
AM also publishes a weekly email which has over 27,000 subscribers. It comprises a summary of popular content and jurisdiction-based international reports from leading law firms. The website hosts a fully searchable archive of all articles and supplements published.
IPBC is widely acknowledged as the world's pre-eminent IP business event and attracts high-level delegates from industry, finance and investment, the law, academia and government, as well as IP intermediaries and aggregators. ...

About:  The AcclaimIP story:  FreePatentsOnline founders James Ryley and Erik Reeves along with a new partner Matt Troyer conceived AcclaimIP in the summer of 2010.  Our goal from the beginning was to make patent research software easier to use, higher performance and more complete, with innovative features that help our clients do a better job in less time.  The FreePatentsOnline legacy is what keeps us focused on performance. Amazing features that take 30 minutes to run don't get used, so we built on our legacy of performance and created AcclaimIP.com.  AcclaimIP is now our flagship product that brings high-end patent search and analysis to our customers at an affordable price.
James has a PhD in molecular biology, is a registered patent agent and a creative at heart.  Erik runs the daily operations of the company including managing the development team and keeps everybody focused on our broad vision.  Matt leads the AcclaimIP sales and marketing effort by interacting with the customers, leading the sales team, and specifying new features from customer requests.
We launched the AcclaimIP in January 2012 with excellent reception. Since then we have consistently improved the software, doing a new build about every two weeks, improving everything from the user interface, performance, new features and new data collections.  In March of 2016, AcclaimIP was acquired by Anaqua, Inc.  The entire team moved over to Anaqua.  We've hired more developers to accelerate our development, more customer service people to better service our customers.  We also acquired 40 full text English translated patent collections, giving us the most complete set of patent data and original PDFs.  We also acquired Patent River who are experts in Public PAIR data, and we look forward to integrating the new data into AcclaimIP.

AcclaimIP Patent Search & Analytics:  Searching through over 100 million patents can be a daunting and time-consuming task. AcclaimIP is one of the fastest, most intuitive, and comprehensive tools for conducting patent searches, analyzing patents, and determining patentability.
