"TRIZ Home Page in Japan" Updated (Feb. 13, 2020)

Site Introduction (Features and Selected articles in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan") for the WTSP Catalogs (Toru Nakagawa)
WTSP: Attractive and Useful !! Our WTSP Catalogs Will Be !! Plans for our 3rd year, 2020. (Toru Nakagawa)

[WTSP] Letter: (17M-1AB, DE) Attractive and Useful !! Our WTSP Catalogs Will Be !!

Toru Nakagawa ==>  WTSP Members and TRIZ Colleagues    Feb. 14, 2020

Dear TRIZ Colleagues and WTSP Members,

"TRIZ Home Page in Japan" has been updated today (dated Feb. 13, 2020) in the English and Japanese pages:
http://www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/

[1] Attractive and Useful !! Our WTSP Catalogs Will Be !! Plans for our 3rd year, 2020. (Toru Nakagawa)

What and how should we do this year?

(1) Forming WTSP teams in each country to build up County WTSP Catalogs, as I proposed last October , is certainly the orthodox bottom-up way we should work.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and your Team.
From every country, we should include at least one site in our World WTSP Catalogs.

(2) In addition, I would like to suggest another way, based on the "20 - 80 percent rule" again:
Let's pursue to make our WTSP Catalogs Attractive and Useful !! We may not pursue Full scale nor Completeness at first.

We just need Attractive and Useful introductions of Attractive and Useful Web sites in the world. We should invite owners (or any key person) who are proud of their sites being Attractive and Useful for many readers/users to describe Attractive and Useful introductions of their sites (in faithful, non-commercial attitude) and to contribute them to the WTSP Catalogs.

If you are ordinary readers/users of TRIZ supporting our WTSP project, please send emails to your leaders and owners of Attractive and Useful sites for writing Attractive and Useful introductions of their sites.
Once 5 or 10 sites demonstrate such Attractive and Useful introductions of sites, then many more sites will follow.

In practice, for describing/introducing individual sites, we will add the third level (c) to our previous (a) and (b):

(a) Single line in the Index table of the WTSP Catalogs
--- Required for every site in the WTSP Catalogs.

(b) Site Description in the Standard Format (about 1 page of A4 size):
--- Required for every site in the WTSP Catalogs.

(c) Close introduction of the site in a free format (about 2-5 pages of A4):
Describe remarkable features and articles. Introduce important/useful articles briefly and attach hyperlinks to them.
--- Desirable for world important sites (◎○)in the WTSP Catalogs, and optional for □△ sites.

An example of (c) has been made for Nakagawa's site "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" , and has been inserted in the Current WTSP Catalogs . (See below, [2])

Please contribute your manuscripts of Attractive and Useful introductions of Attractive and Useful Web sites in the world.
List of sites with such introductions (c) are to be shown.

We are planning to give a presentation at ETRIA TFC2020 (Oct. 14-16, 2020, at Cluj-Napoca, Romania).

[2] Site Introduction for the WTSP Catalogs:
Features and Selected articles of "TRIZ Home Page in Japan". (Toru Nakagawa)

This is an example of site introduction (c) mentioned in [1].

Features are explained briefly on:

History, Editor, Purpose, Fields/types/scopes of articles, Special features (Parallel in Japanese and in English, Methods for accessing articles).

Then, articles are reviewed briefly according to the categories. About 160 articles among about 1400 (Japanese) + 1100 (English) are listed with hyperlinks attached.

(a) Introducing TRIZ (1997-2001),
(b) Introducing USIT (1998-2001),
(c) Extending USIT (2002-2003),
(d) Absorbing Modernized TRIZ (2001-2004),
(e) Finding 'Six-Box Scheme' (2003-2006),
(f) Japan TRIZ Society and Japan TRIZ Symposia (2005-2008),
(g) Education with TRIZ/USIT at OGU (2000-2012),
(h) Activities of JTS and international relationships (2009-2012),
(i) General Methodology of Creative Problem Solving (CrePS) (2012 - 2016),
(j) Various topics in wider scopes (2011-2019),
(k) Social Issues and the Principal Contradiction of Human Culture (2015-2019),
(l) WTSP Project (Dec. 2017 - present).

Different styles of site introduction may be chosen depending on the nature of each site.
I hope the introduction of my site is Attractive and Useful for many readers/users in TRIZ.

Best wishes, Toru

"TRIZ Home Page in Japan" Updated (Feb. 13, 2020) 160 Selected articles of THPJ

Toru Nakagawa ==> TRIZ Leaders/colleagues   Feb. 14, 2020

Dear TRIZ Leaders/colleagues,

I have updated my Web site today (dated Feb. 13).
"TRIZ Home Page in Japan": http://www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/

(Sorry but some of you have just received a [WTSP] Letter from me, with different emphasis. This time my emphasis is on the introduction of my site.)

[1] Features and Selected articles of "TRIZ Home Page in Japan". (Toru Nakagawa)

I have written an overview introduction of my site for the sake of the World WTSP Catalogs.
My site has a history of 21 years and contains about 1400 HTML articles in Japanese and about 1100 HTML articles in English.

Special features of my site are
     (1) parallel pages in Japanese and in English,
     (2) Various facilities for accessing articles.

I have selected about 160 articles (written by many people in Japan and overseas, as well as by myself). I have grouped them firstly in the time period and then in the themes of my own research interests and further in the activities in Japan and in the world.

(a) Introducing TRIZ (1997~2001)

(b) Introducing USIT (Unified Structured Inventive Thinking) (1998 - 2001)

(c) Extending USIT (USIT Operator System) (2002 - 2003)

(d) Absorbing Modernized TRIZ (Attending at international conferences, Darrell Mann's Systematic Innovation) (2001 - 2004)

(e) Finding 'Six-Box Scheme: A new paradigm of creative problem solving' through USIT studies (2003 - 2006)

(f) Launch and Activities of Japan TRIZ Society and Japan TRIZ Symposia (2005 - 2008)

(g) Education with TRIZ / USIT (Education practice at Osaka Gakuin University) (2000 - 2012)

(h) Activities of Japan TRIZ Society and extension of international relationships (2009 - 2012)

(i) Proposal of "General Methodology of Creative Problem Solving (CrePS)" based on the Six-Box Scheme (2012 - 2016)

(j) Various topics of communications, issues, and interests in wider scopes (2011 - 2019)

(k) Applying CrePS/TRIZ to Social Issues, and Having realized the Principal Contradiction of Human Culture (2015 - 2019)

(l) Building Catalogs of TRIZ-related Sites in the World (WTSP Project) (Dec, 2017 - present)

This is just like a summary of how I learned TRIZ/USIT and extended them further while applying them and working on various themes, for these 20+ years.

[2] Attractive and Useful !! Our WTSP Catalogs Will Be !! WTSP strategy for our 3rd year, 2020. (Toru Nakagawa)

Last October, we have built the preliminary version of the World TRIZ-related Sites Catalogs.

Our goals for the 3rd year of WTSP are to get higher evaluation (by professionals as well as beginners) that our WTSP Catalogs are much more useful than ordinary internet surveys because of well-selected sites with fair and close introductions for each.

Besides the orthodox approach of forming WTSP Teams in every country to build Country WTSP Catalogs, I would like to suggest a second way based on the "20 - 80 % rule".

Let's pursue to make our WTSP Catalogs Attractive and Useful!! We just need Attractive and Useful introductions of Attractive and Useful Web sites in the world.

We should invite owners (or any key person) who are proud of their sites being Attractive and Useful (for many readers/users) to describe Attractive and Useful introductions of their sites and to contribute them to the WTSP Catalogs.

If you are ordinary readers/users of TRIZ supporting our WTSP project, please send emails to your leaders and site owners for encouraging them.

For the site description we so far used
     (a) Single line in the Index table of the WTSP Catalogs
     (b) Site Description in the Standard Format (1 page of A4)

We now have introduced
     (c) Close introduction of the site in a free format (about 2-5 pages of A4).

Introduction of my site [1] is a sample I made, even though it becomes larger (about 15 pages) than usual. I hope the sample [1] is Attractive and Useful for many readers/users.

Styles of site introduction may be chosen differently depending on the nature of the sites.
Once 5 or 10 sites demonstrate such Attractive and Useful introductions of sites, then many more sites will follow. (This is the expectation from the "20 - 80 % rule".)

Looking forward to hearing from you and working with you, Together ! Connected !!
Best wishes, Toru

[WTSP] Letter: (17G-1) Please write Site Introduction of yours

Toru Nakagawa ==> WTSP Global Co-editors  Feb. 17, 2020

Dear WTSP Global Co-editors,

Hello, how are you?

Simon Dewulf, are you and you facilities all right in the disastrous fire in your country (Australia)? I am sorry that I have not communicated personally for these months.

Three days ago, I sent you and many WTSP Members/supporters two mails, [WTSP} Letter (17M-1AB) and "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" Updated (Feb. 13, 2020).

(1) Could you please write a Site Introduction of your Web sites?

Your sites are representative even among the ◎ sites in our World WTSP Catalgos. So your Site Introduction must be most 'Attractive and Useful' for many readers.
Please choose some style you think best fit for your site.

Darrell: Please write about your 'Systematic Innovation' site first.
Please suggest who and how should write about the TRIZ Journal.

Michael: Please write about your English site first, instead of your Russian site. I will add your English site in the World WTSP Catalogs. It is nice if many other sites in Germany are included in our WTSP Catalogs.

(2) I am very much looking forward to hearing about the start of WTSP Teams in your and many other countries. Could you encourage TRIZ leaders and colleagues in your country?
Could you give me any advices?

Best wishes, Toru

Best 4 Slides from 21 Years of "TRIZ Home Page in Japan": Essence of TRIZ, Six-Box Scheme, CrePS, Liberty vs Love

Toru Nakagawa ==>  Posting in LinkedIn     Feb. 18, 2020

In my Site Introduction of "TRIZ Home Page in Japan", I select and show "Best 4 Slides" from my work for these 21 years. They are:

Essence of TRIZ:
Ref. 'Learning and Applying the Essence of TRIZ with Easier USIT Procedure' (ETRIA TFC 2001)

Six-Box Scheme:
Ref. 'A New Paradigm for Creative Problem Solving: Six-Box Scheme in USIT' (ETRIA TFC 2006).

A New Target Beyond TRIZ: CrePS:
Ref. 'CrePS (General Methodology of Creative Problem Solving) beyond TRIZ: What, Why, and How?' (TRICON2016) .

Liberty vs Love:
Ref. ' 'Liberty vs Love' and Ethics: Principal Contradiction of Human Culture and Solution Directions', (Intern'l Conf. of Creativity and Innovation) 2018).

Human Culture has chosen (or recognized) Liberty and Love as the two Principal Guiding Principles, but there exist intrinsic contradictions, inside each of them and between the two, which have not been resolved throughout the human history. It should be Ethics that motivates and coordinates both Liberty and Love; Ethics is the most basic Principal Guiding Principle based on the understanding that every person has the rights to pursue one's own happiness. Pursuing for the three goals together, i.e., to extend Liberty, to expand (or universalize) Love, and to deepen Ethics, is Good for individuals and for societies. Insisting and pursuing for 'Liberty alone / Love alone / Ethics alone' is NO Good. This is my understanding at the present stage.
(Toru Nakagawa, New Year Card, Jan. 2019)

"TRIZ Home Page in Japan" Updated (Feb. 21, 2020)

Michael Orloff (Germany) ==> Toru Nakagawa   Feb. 23, 2020

Dear Toru, just yesterday I finally received a signed agreement stating that from February 27 to March 11 I work in Minsk (Belarus) for a large company and conduct training in a group of more than 130 specialists. Then I will have the previously planned training of a large group from Kazakhstan in Berlin from March 15 to 28. And only after that I hope to look around on other matters.

And I definitely want to participate in your project so that TRIZ progresses better in the world.
Kind regards, Michael

  TN ==> Michael Orloff       Feb. 23, 2020

Dear Michael, Congratulations to your obtaining large scale training contracts in Minsk and for a group from Kazakhstan.
I will be happy to receive your Site Introduction some day in April or so.
Best wishes, Toru

[WTSP] Letter: (17P-1) Please write Site Introduction of yours for all TRIZ users in the world

Toru Nakagawa ==> Larisa Komarcheva ("The official foundation of G.S. Altshuller", Russia) Feb. 28, 2020

Dear Larisa Komarcheva, Hello, how are you?

As you know, we have been working in the WTSP Project to build "World TRIZ-related Sites Catalogs" for proliferating TRIZ further in the world.
Current active version of the WTSP Catalogs is shown in my "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" with URL:

Two weeks ago, I sent you and many WTSP Members/supporters two emails, [WTSP} Letter (17M-1AB) and "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" Updated (Feb. 13, 2020).

(1) Could you please write a Site Introduction of your Web site?

Your site, "The official foundation of G.S. Altshuller" is listed, of course, at the top of our WTSP Catalog.
Since your site is original, unique, and intensive/extensive, many TRIZ experts and users in the world want to read many articles in it.

We have 3 stages of describing a site:

(a) Single line in the Index table of the WTSP Catalogs
--- done for your site.

(b) Site Description in the Standard Format (about 1 page of A4 size):
--- Please fill in the Format attached here.

(c) Close introduction of the site in a free format (about 2-5 pages of A4): Describe remarkable features and articles. Introduce important/useful articles briefly and attach hyperlinks to them.)
--- Please write site introduction at this level also. Please choose some style you think best fit for your site.

Since your site is mostly written in Russian, please write (b) and (c) first in Russian for Russian people. And then adjust it and translate it into English for all the people in the world.
Many people, including myself, unfortunately can't read Russian, your site introduction in English is valuable.
It will serve much for us to understand the life time contributions by Mr. Genrihk S. Altshuller.

By the way, how is the situations of your operating the site?

I visited your site again today. It seems to me that your News section does not show recent articles. When did you write the REPORT OF THE OFFICIAL G.S. ALTSHULLER FOUNDATION ?

Articles written in English seem to be very few. Do you have supports by some of the TRIZ groups?

Looking forward to hearing from you,   Best wishes, Toru

The following three are [WTSP] Letter (17P-1) sent to TRIZ leaders separately.
